The said feature allows the user to essentially import highly detailed 3d models referenced from real life to the engine and further into the game. This allows for a massive saving of resources and efforts on behalf of developers, allowing them to spend more time perfecting other elements of their game.

It is potentially the first time the Nanite Geometry System will be used while developing a game.

As discussed before, this particular feature is going to be explored for potentially the first time in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and fans could not be more excited for the same. Unreal Engine 5 has truly brought a revolution in how games will be made moving forward in time, and the VFX director of Ninja Theory, Mark Slater-Tunstill has testified to it.

Tunstill, in an interview, has called UE5 to be simply ‘amazing‘ and has mentioned how it allows developers to have a deeper insight into the mechanics like never imagined before. This also allows the game-makers to add more intriguing effects and helps them further make the in-game environment feel more natural by playing with the light accordingly.

Unfortunately, bad news waits on the horizon for those players aiming to experience the title on their Xbox. The aforementioned VFX director has also mentioned how the console version of the game will be locked to just 30FPS, in order to deliver a more ‘cinematic‘ experience to the fans.
