Since the beginning, one key feature of Fortnite has been its item shop, which allows players to purchase cosmetics and customize their in-game character. The cosmetics often feature many different real-world celebrities and artists, including the likes of Ariana Grande as well as the more recent inclusion of Eminem.
In an unfortunate turn of events, Epic Games might soon be under fire due to the Eminem skin. The reason why relates to how the developers removed the ‘Rap Boy’ skin, a cosmetic released in collaboration with the musician, from players’ lockers. And now, in a bold move, they have teased the introduction of the cosmetic in the item shop once again.

It usually doesn’t take long for a developer to respond in a situation like this, to avoid an angry mob of fans. And just like clockwork, through the game’s official account on X/Twitter, Epic stated that an investigation has begun, and players will be updated on the matter soon.
However, in a bold move, the makers of Fortnite have added a banner to the game, teasing how the cosmetic bundle, created in collaboration with the artist, will once again appear in the item shop.
Not only does this have players wondering, but it has made some of them furious, prompting them to ask for an option to get a refund from Epic Games.
The studio has yet to provide any information on when the skin will be made available to players again, building up the annoyance even more as players look forward to these collaborations made with their favorite celebrities.
