With a live-stream that has lasted over 95 hours, and has no end in sight, Kai Cenat has been playing the new Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC ever since its launch. It was about time he got some extra help in beating the final boss.

Progressing until the very end of the new expansion remains a remarkable journey on its own. However, it is the final battle that seems to be where all the troubles begin, especially for our favorite creator, who has been stuck in the same fight for more than 60 hours now, prompting him to get a therapist.

The Final Boss Fight: Kai Cenat Getting a Therapist Proves Elden Ring’s DLC Is Not for the Weak-Hearted

Kai Cenat has been on a marathon to finish the new FromSoftware DLC
Kai Cenat has been on a marathon to finish the new FromSoftware DLC.

Since its first-ever announcement in February 2023, it has been an incredible journey to theorize, speculate, and follow the development of FromSoftware’s largest expansion pack yet. This brings us to today, where Kai Cenat, one of the most popular content creators around has been on a marathon to finish the new DLC, pledging to not end the stream before he is able to achieve his goal.

Unfortunately, Promised Consort Radahn, the very last boss of Shadow of the Erdtree, seems to have different plans for the streamer, trapping him in what looks like a never ending loop of dying and trying again. Funnily enough, this further prompted Cenat to bring on a therapist to his stream, with whom he then talked about the difficulty of the final boss and received some tips on how to handle the pressure.

The therapist suggested the popular creator to turn his anger into positive energy instead, recommending him to take the final boss fight as he takes any other fight. They also motivated Cenat by mentioning how he has mastered many different games already, and this remains just another one to beconquered soon.

Ultimately, the streamer is not the one to blame here, as the final boss fight t,especially in its second phase, feels like the hardest battle FromSoftware has created to date, and this is taking into consideration the difficulty of Midir in Dark Souls 3’s DLC.

Fromsoftware Introduces a New Way to Lose in Shadow of the Erdtree – What Is the Only Counter?

Radahn and Miquella make a formidable duo in the last fight
Radahn and Miquella make a formidable duo in the last fight.

When accompanied by Miquella on his back, Radahn becomes a formidable foe, often going into attack patterns that have slim to no break for the player to take an advantage of.

Also, going for a new grab moveset that if successfully executed twice, will allow the Tarnished’s heart to be charmed by the empyrean, making him bow down on one knee in an act of worship.

Luckily for players, the studio has added a secret counter to this attack, allowing them to negate the charm effect by using Miquella’s great rune after the first attack, resetting the counter before their heart gets stolen.

Do you think Kai Cenat will be able to finish the new DLC within the 120-hour mark? Let us know about it in the comments below!
