Multiplayer games, especially ones that focus on task-based missions, often allow their players to join a random session and help with whatever challenge must be dealt with, making them experience true co-op.
This is the case with Arrowhead’s Helldivers 2, a game praised for its excellent multiplayer integration, except now the community has begun calling out the studio for an issue that no such game should ever have.
Super-Earth Soldiers Are Finally Calling Out This One Issue Causing Them to Be Inefficient in Helldivers 2

Queueing times are a gamer’s worst enemy, as everyone is just ready to drop into action and spread democracy to intergalactic planets. However, what’s worse is that after finally joining a session, the player often finds out they have been placed in a lobby where the extraction has already begun.
Not only does this result in a huge waste of time, but they ultimately have to head back and queue up once again to find another session. Despite many players sharing their disappointing experiences on social media platforms, it remains surprising how Helldivers 2 developers have not implemented a solution to this issue yet, causing players to lose their patience every time it happens.
AH, please, make it so that it is impossible to connect to a random game when extraction is already called, this is ridiculous

While players are compensated with XP and rewards for a mission they didn’t actively help complete, this isn’t always worthwhile for some gamers. This is especially true for those who dislike waiting in a long queue to join another session.
Another Underlying Problem in Helldivers 2: Why Arrowhead Studios Needs to Move Quick?

In the large crowd of millions of gamers that have been enjoying the title since its release in February, a few have turned against their own kind, becoming griefers and ruining the experience of others around them.
Griefing remains a huge issue in many multiplayer games like Helldivers 2, and while there is no practical solution to this challenge, players have seemingly found a rather particular set of armor that protects them from these nefarious users.
Furthermore, the CEO of Arrowhead Studios, Shams Jorjani, has revealed through his official X/ Twitter handle how the creators of the game will now be staying more active than ever on their official social media channels, which should directly have an impact on how swiftly these issues are tackled by the studio.
